Wedding season has officially kicked infull force. We’ve witnessed a good handful of weddings, and have had the pleasure of working at amazing new venues this season. Thank you again and again to all our clients for your unconditional love you have shown CCL Weddings & Events. We would not be here today without you all!

My sister ecstatically said “I DO” a few weekends ago and I am happy to say Inow have a brother (in law)! Out of four daugters in the family, my mom happily welcomed her new son into our family. It was a beautiful wedding and I am excited to share some of the sneak peeks from the weddingin the upcoming weeks.

Today we bring to you a 2012 wedding at no other than Union Station, and we are happy to say it is being featured on Style Me Pretty California TODAY! So check it out HEREHERE & HERE! We certainly have produced a number of weddings at Union Station last year, and my visits to the venue made it feel more and more like home.  This wedding was full of bright colors and bold lettering. Betsy and Jeremy wanted a mid-century modern wedding that really showed off the architecture, beauty of the space and all its history. We had the joy to work with Primary Petals who did a phenomenal job on all the floral, including an arch with massive airplants and succulents! Custom cocktails and an Italian fare were served during cocktail hour and at the reception. The couple was actually traveling to Italy for their honeymoon, so they opted for an Italian family style dinner for their guests.

Although it was a warm day, this did not stop the guests from “shaking their caboose” the entire evening! A dessert station was set for the guests with mini-sized Italian desserts and a bountiful cake by Vanilla Bake Shop. We love styling dessert stations, so when it came to theirs, I knew exactly what I wanted to create. As guests departed for the evening back to the Roosevelt Hotel, train and caboose cookies were given on the way out to enjoy on their journey home.

Betsy and Jeremy, you two were so fun to work with and I’m so THANKFUL you allowed me and the CCL Team to be a part of your wedding planning journey. You two really know how to have a good time and ensure that for all your guests! Congrats on being featured and on your marriage!
