BRANDON & KATRINA – THE WEDDING!

If I could give 3 words that would sum up Brandon and Katrina’s wedding it would be intimate, entertaining and EPIC!

I have had the honor to continuously work with Brandon and Katrina on several weddings for the past 4 years, and getting to know this couple has only been more humbling, inspiring and absolutely full of non-stop laughs. I was taken by surprise when Brandon inquired about our services on our website shortly after they were engaged. Little did I know what Brandon and Katrina had in store for their closest friends and family that would start off our 2014 year with a BANG!

The couple decided to wed at their favorite place that was not only picturesque, but a place where they could call home for a weekend– Korakia Pensione in Palm Springs. The weekend started off with one of THE MOST entertaining Chinese Tea Ceremony I ever did see, and followed with a pool party, lots of drinking (I mean LOTS of drinking) and a delicious welcome dinner. The wedding day started like another typical wedding day, but as the day progressed, it turned into an action packed evening with surprise after surprise. The beautiful ceremony followed by a cocktail style reception where guests were later escorted to a reception filled with hundreds of candles that created the romantic environment filled with so many heart-warming speeches. Once the speeches were done, 2 school buses pulled up in front of the venue where guests were guests were unknowingly driven to Snapshot Studios for a surprise studio party. Once dropped off in the dark parking lot, the rolling gates opened and sparklers, confetti, lights and music blasted through the space.

Throughout the evening, surprise performances by burlesque dancers, an Indian drummer and the groom himself performed (rapping with one of his close friends) on the dance floor. A bar cart of Pedialyte and candy went through the venue to ensure their guests were well hydrated and kept full of sugar throughout the evening.

Brandon and Katrina, I know it has been months since the wedding, but I still cannot get enough of your wedding weekend. Thank you so much for bringing me on and allowing me to bea part of an event in your life that will forever be ingrained my life. You two are truly inspiring and I admire the relationship you have and how hard you work to get as far as you have come in your career. Love you both so much and I cannot wait to see what other EPIC moments are to come. Congrats again and again!
