KAILIN & ART – THE WEDDING!

Never before have I ever watched a single episode of Game of Thrones, but after meeting Kailin and Art, and knowing their absolute love for the hit T.V. show, I was bound to learn a thing or two (or 50) in a single meeting with the couple.

I knew right after I met with the couple that it was going to be a perfect match. I loved their fun personality and positive outlook on everything. The couple had a strong love for Halloween, and it wasn’t just because the groom proposed on Halloween dressed as Jack Skellington, so it was only appropriate for us to have their wedding near Halloween. The couple chose the beautiful Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, California for their grand setting.

We incorporated subtle hints and tidbits of Game of Thrones in their wedding details, such as a watercolor design of the iconic heart tree from the show, a ring boy banner with the phrase “Wedding is Coming,” table names with each of the houses, and a custom made “heart tree” from where guests pulled their escort cards.

My favorite part of the wedding was receiving a text from the bride the morning of the wedding saying how nervous and excited she was for the wedding that she did a happy dance. It was truly a happy day for the couple as the wed in front of their friends and family traveling in near and far.

Kailin and Art, you two are perfect for each other in every way! A year has officially gone by and I am still doing the happy dance for you guys whenever I see your wedding day photos! So thankful to have the opportunity to work with you on your big day, and become such great friends. Love you two so much and cannot wait for our overdue dinner date!
