Happy Friday!
It has been a little while since my last post, but I’m back from taking a 3 week trip to the beautiful city of Venice to plan a wedding for this May! Time has seriously been flying for 2014 and I wish I could just slow it down a teensy bit. I also took a short trip to Bangkok, Thailand and came home ENGAGED! I will definitely share more about this later on. In the meantime, we have a VERY IMPORTANT wedding from the CCL family that we are excited to share.
Since I started CCL 6 years ago, one person has always been by my side helping me with a large number of the weddings and has never asked for a single thing. Robin Kim was that person who has given the company the stability it needed to be where it is today through her continuous support.. I love her with all my heart and cannot imagine my life without her. On the blog today we share her marriage to the love of her life, Daniel Chung. They wedded last September in Los Angeles at the First Congregation Church in front of over 200 of their closest friends and family members. I was so thrilled to work on this wedding with Robin and Daniel because I knew that Robin has seen it all and would want something different that represented her and Daniel.
We created a clean, sleek and modern wedding reception that took place at the AT&T Center Penthouse in DTLA, and played with many new elements that we have not had the opportunity to do before. The one element she requested in her wedding were Edison light bulbs to be placed near her table. We did more than just place it at her table, but created a whole overhang for a 24′ long table with varying sizes of light bulbs. We then brought in the phrase “Love Will Light the Way” for her wedding and had over 200 round vintage light bulbs gutted and filled with gold glitter for escort cards.
Thank you to Milieu Floral Design for creating such beautiful arrangements! It was truly an event to remember for us all and we couldnot be more thrilled (up to this day) to have been a part of this wedding!
Robin and Daniel, we LOVE you both so much! I know you and I will grow old together (you don’t even have a choice) even if you are thousands of miles away.
Hope you enjoy the photos from The Brother’s Wright! And if you have the time, please check out the slo-mo video from Slo-Mo Arigato here!
