JENNY & TONY – THE WEDDING!

2015 has certainly been full of surprises and eventful moments so far! Our team has officially returned to sunny Southern California from our trip to Bangkok and Koh Samui, Thailand. The big news is… I’M MARRIED! If you follow me on Instagram you probably saw some of the images from our wedding weekend, and probably knew about my engagement to #tallasianguy for the past 8 months. Being on the other side as the bride has been absolutely amazing, and my HUSBAND and I both wish the weekend never ended. It was by far one of the greatest and most memorable experiences ever! I will definitely be posting about our travel and the events in a later post.

In the meantime, all this destination wedding talk leads me to this stunner of a wedding in Puglia, Italy in October 2014. We planned this grand fete in just four months and it was certainly an experience of a lifetime. Maggie, one of our associate coordinators, and I first traveled to Puglia in the heat of July and returned to a much colder and winter-esque Puglia in October. Regardless of the pouring rain and chilly weather, we made the most of what Italy had to offer!

We had the honor of witnessing the wedding of Jenny and Tony in an intimate and romantic little chapel inside the Borgo Egnazia resort property (this resort has its own town!). Yes, the same chapel where recently wedded Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel got hitched! Imagine a chapel lit with hundreds of candles and filled with some garden roses and the whitest lizzianthus I ever did see!

Following the ceremony, guests were escorted to an Apulian dinner setting with natural wood, wheat, twine and cotton linen to portray the organic beauty of the countryside in Puglia and dined on a brilliant five-course dinner, traditional Apulian desserts, a wedding cake that was taller than the couple once on the table and a homemade gelato cart.

It was truly an unforgettable wedding weekend for the guests, and especially for all of us at CCL! We’re so thankful for the opportunities we’ve had exploring new places and working with such a wonderfully loving couple.
