CRYSTAL & FENG – THE WEDDING!

The holidays are amongst us and we cannot wait for the chilly weather to fully kick in so we can bring out those warm and cozy sweaters! We returned from beautiful Puglia, Italy last week after that left us in awe of all the beauty and delicious food Italy so humbly filled us with. Can’t wait to receive the images and video from the photographer and videographer to share with you all. The trip itself was a dream and we are so thankful for all the opportunities we have had to travel near and far to do what we love the most– WEDDINGS!

Earlier this year we had the honor to plan, design and produce a wedding in the very picturesque city of Venice, Italy. Who knew that George Clooney would then walk the hallways and stairwells of the Aman Canal Grande Hotel only a few months after we had the wedding ceremony and reception for Crystal and Feng. Our lovely couple resided in Hong Kong and needed assistance to make sure their wedding was going down the right path! I still remember getting that phone call from Crystal back in December thinking how amazing it would be if we could work on a destination wedding. A week later we got the email and we were off to Italy to plan the wedding in March, later sending our very own Maggie and Liz in May to put on one of the most beautiful weddings we have seen.

The hotel provides such beautiful architecture alone that the dinner itself was filled with tall silver candelabras to highlight the art of the room, while one of the largest arches we ever did see ware built in the garden for the ceremony. The guests were invited into the ballroom to enjoy a six course Italian meal filled with fresh seafood and pastas, along with a traditional Italian wedding cake. The party certainly did not stop there as guests danced the night away and later served dishes of spaghetti for a late-night snack.

Crystal and Feng, planning your wedding was such a dream! It has given us more doors to be open and things to be seen and we cannot thank you enough. You two were such a joy to work with, and seeing how hard you two work within your own careers only make us want to work even harder. We love you so much and cannot wait until you are back in Southern California to see you both soon! Thanks to you two we are on our way working on more destination weddings =)
