JULIE & JONATHAN – THE WEDDING

Friends since high school, Julie and Jonathan didn’t know that one day they would be meant for each other until many years later. Once Jonathan popped the question to seal the deal, the couple began planning their elegant May wedding to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. The couple chose a beautiful, traditional and elegant color palette with ivory, gold and subtle hints of blush pink.

The groom, growing up with a family who had owned a liquor store, was known for always consuming two things: candy and beef jerky. We knew having these two elements somewhere in the wedding would be a great nod to the groom. A beef jerky station with the groom’s favorite flavors were chosen and displayed during cocktail hour. It was a hit! As guests walked into the reception hall they were greeted with a custom candy station made of plexi-glass into the shapes of a round table and the couple’s initials.

A gorgeous escort card installation, created from vintage gold and glass shelving from Found Rentals, was filled with champagne bottles personalized with guest’s names written on each in calligraphy. Guests took their time to find their names and sit in the display area to snap a group photo with their friends and family.

The dinner reception was held inside the main ballroom,where the guests dined on a four-course dinner and were entertained with all the out-of-the ordinary speeches and presented with endless cake and desserts. A special performance from The couple impressed their guests with their choreographed first dance to the song “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran.

Julie and Jonathan, your wedding had some of the best stories yet! I loved getting to know you both and work with you on your wedding day! I know you’ll miss those emails from me, but I will be sure to randomly email you every now and then with my to-do lists and follows ups! Can’t wait to enjoy another dinner together!
